This project was the seismic upgrade for the existing unreinforced masonry structure. Phase 1 was an upgrade that included new wall ties and roof decking. Phase 2 consisted of the addition of a new second floor constructed with steel beams and concrete over steel deck and new steel brace frames were added to resist the wind and seismic forces.
