This church structure is a combination of open web steel joist and steel deck in the worship space and a wood truss and wood panel roof deck diaphragm. The walls are site cast tilt-up concrete panels. The tilt-up panels were designed with a deep vertical reveal to simulate board and batten. The worship center roof trusses are scissor shape and designed to support the architectural ceiling and catwalks. Because of the tight wall design tolerances coordination between the architect, contractor and structural engineer was continual.
