A new 65,000sf single level elementary school that has a multi-purpose room, cafeteria, media center and classrooms. The structure utilizes pre-engineered wood roof trusses, wood framed walls and masonry walls at the multi-purpose and cafeteria areas. The seismic and wind forces are rested by wood panel roof diaphragm, wood panel shear walls and masonry shear walls. The floors are concrete slab on grade with conventional spread footings.
