A new 42,000 sf elementary school facility was designed to replace an aging and non-code compliant facility. The classroom wings utilizes wood stud bearing walls and pre-engineered wood trusses and wood deck roofing systems. The gymnasium and cafeteria are have concrete masonry unit walls with large glulam beams to mimic a feature of the original school. Due to site conditions, retaining walls were designed to fit the site.
