Idaho Forest Industries

This warehouse was a replacement for the existing that was destroyed by fire. Construction was able to begin a month after the fire due to a “fast-track” design process. Due to the warehouses extreme length and width, the structure is made up of extremely large glu-lam beams and steel columns. Lateral forces are resisted by a combination of plywood shear walls and tilt-up concrete panels.
